It's funny how Murphy's Law applies to many things. On the way to the city centre there is a part of the highway where there are no emergency lanes and the lanes are also smaller than usual as they are on bridges over the river. Now that's exactly the place where cars tend to break down! It's a track of only a few kilometers and every where else there is plenty of space, so a broken car would just be moved to the side of the road and not delay the other traffic. But no, the last few days cars broke down where they do most harm, delaying my ride.
